Philadelphia Timelapse Trailer

Over the past 6 months, I’ve been working on a new and exciting personal project entitled “Philadelphia”. It’s a short film using timelapse to illustrate the different characteristics of places in the city at different times and how that makes the city unique. I’ve got a small promo ready and would love to share. Enjoy!

New Gear! Nikon 70-200mm VR II

*Warning: This is for the photo nerds more than the picture peepers

How many of us love new toys? I know I do. I recently purchased the Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II. That’s not the technical name, but you know exactly which lens I’m speaking of anyway, so why get pedantic? :)

Anyway, this is a great lens which I bought through B&H Photo Video. Although my purchasing experience was less than optimal, I received the lens, for the promised price, and everyone’s happy now. More on that later.

This lens basically allows me to do things I couldn’t do with any other lens, the way this lens does it. It is truly amazing. Here are just a few samples of what I shot while going and testing it out.

(By the way, the pictures are of @DennyArcher, and my beautiful pugs Deuce and Sweetie)

I’m not originally from Pennsylvania as some of you know, I’m actually from Delaware. Thankfully, I’m the adventurous type and I’m not afraid of checking out new places whether it be nature, city, or museum.

Now I will admit that when Aaren Lee asked me “Would you like to go to Tyler Arboretum?” I replied with “Tyler what?!”. We don’t have Arboretums where I’m from, but once she described it to me I was hooked. We went and had a great time, and even took a few portraits. Enjoy!
