More Creation Photos: Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, RED, Royal, and Family Force 5

Thanks to the folks at WorshipMD.com my pass at Creation Festival wasn’t only a Photographer’s Pass, but an All-Access pass. I could go anywhere in the festival I wanted. During the RED show I even went on stage to get a shot. It was great. Being a small town music-lover who loves concerts definitely increased the magnitude of some of the moments I had while there.

One of the main perks was being able to hangout in the Artist Trailer which is where, well the artists hangout. After Lecrae’s set I went into the trailer for a drink (It was blazing hot) and Lecrae made a comment: “Yo dawg, you gotta tell me where you got that iPhone case!”. He was talking about my Bamboo iPhone case. I told him where I got it (our little secret, don’t ask!) and we talked for a bit.

It was amazing. This guy has over 200,000 followers on Twitter. I felt honored that he was talking to me. We talked for almost an hour about what we did. After Creation, his plans were for he and his record label Reach Records to do a tour of Africa doing shows and participating in ongoing compassion work. His heart is real, and he’s a great guy. Tons of stage presence and I thoroughly enjoyed photographing him.
