Remember the show Junkward Wars?

Yeah, it wasn't that great. BUT the contestants in one of the episodes built a contraption to throw a pumpkin as far as possible using centrifugal technology. They would compete in an event  in my hometown called Pumpkin Chunkin.

A few years later, my parents would join a team to compete in Pumpkin Chunkin. They'd purchase that machine from the Europeans of Junkyard Wars and modify that machine. It's called United Flingdom and is now tradition in my family. This was the first year I had been able to come and my when my parents were participating. I also brought the beautiful Aaren Lee along as well.
